📱 On March 31, 2016, I bought an old keypad phone from a neighbor for 20 BDT, and that was when my phone usage began. After that, I used many keypad phones, and I was a fan of Java phones because I could install additional apps and games on them. Around 2017, 2018, and 2019, I searched 🔍 YouTube and Google for things like how to create apps & websites, how to hack Facebook accounts, and so on.
🕵️ In late 2019, I naturally developed a huge interest in hacking. At that time, I didn't have a computer. I had an Android phone with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. I used that phone and enjoyed using it.
From Late 2019 - end of 2020 I learned about hacking social media accounts and Android phones through YouTube. I hacked many people's accounts through phishing and also hacked Android phones by tricking them to install malware.
💡 In 2020, I taught that hacking shouldn't be my career. It didn't sound good to say, "My profession: Hacking // I'm a hacker." (my taught was funney but it's true) Instead, I decided to build a career in web development.
🛠️ During this journey, I was introduced to Termux (a terminal for Android), Bash scripting, GitHub, malware, keyloggers, brute-force attacks, and programming. I was especially impressed ✨ by HTML, which I learned about from my textbook, and I was fascinated by HTML code and its output.
🔓 I also rooted my Android phone around September 2020 and used many Wi-Fi hacking apps. I remember accessing a Wi-Fi router's admin panel without a password through what I believe was session or cookie hijacking. I also did things for fun, such as disconnecting everyone else from a Wi-Fi network after connecting to it myself, allowing me to use the internet at full speed. When people blocked my device from their Wi-Fi networks, I changed my MAC address using a MAC changer app from the Play Store.
⚙️ I used Xposed modules and modified my low-budget phone to make it look and feel like a premium device. However, because of these modifications, my device went into a boot loop multiple times, and I had to visit a computer shop to get it flashed. 🔄
🧭 After this crazy period, I eventually wished for my interest in hacking to fade away because I was harming people. By 2021, I had lost interest in hacking. Basically, the tasks and activities I had been doing in 2020 no longer gave me the same dopamine rush. And that's how I got out of the hacking world.
🔥 At that point, my coding skills were limited to HTML, CSS, and a little bit of Bash. And believe me, that was enough to give me a dopamine rush (2020). I created things with HTML and built scripts and tools with Bash. It was so much fun and one of the most exciting periods of my tech journey.
📚 In 2021, I became very active on Instagram and started following celebrities. Whenever I came across content related to hacking, technology, or programming, I started following tech profiles and unfollowing celebrities. This was how I discovered valuable, simple, and easy-to-follow roadmaps for web development, programming, and more. (I still have those things saved on Instagram.)
🎯 After getting a clear idea of the roadmap, I planned to start learning web development after my academic exams. My exams ended in December 20, 2021, and I started with a Git tutorial from the "Learn with Sumit" YouTube channel. However, I couldn't maintain consistency because I was still a beginner. So, after that day, I drifted away from studying.
🚀 Then, after two and a half months, on March 5, 2022, I finally kick-started my journey with HTML. And I'm still learning...! 🌱
