My story

My journey in tech

🕵️ In late 2019, I naturally developed a huge interest in hacking. At that time, I didn't have a computer. I had an Android phone with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. I used that phone and enjoyed using it. I learned about hacking social media accounts and Android phones through YouTube. I hacked many people's accounts through phishing and also hacked Android phones by tricking them to install malware...

How I work

My typical workflow for building apps

Brain dump the idea
Feed it into AI and generate a prototype and design
Refine the design
Initialize the project
Plan the MVP
Put in agent instructions and a customized shadcn theme so agents can write modular, maintainable code with design consistency
Start building step by step, showing design screenshots to the agent

I build with AI agents (Herdr + OpenCode) and review every change in VS Code.

I'm an Obsidian nerd. I switched from Notion to Obsidian in July 2024. Read my Reddit post about my obsidian setup.

🔒 By the way, I use the Private Lock app, which locks my Android phone when I shake it. So if I’m using my phone in a public place and a theft happens, shaking the phone will lock it and keep my data safe.

When Productivity Became My Biggest Distraction

In December 2024, I found the Alarmy app, which won't turn off the alarm until you scan a QR code. I printed a QR code and stuck it on the outside of our room door 😜

Now when the alarm starts ringing, I first wake up, then I walk a few meters, open the door, and scan the QR code. Only then does the alarm stop 😜

Inspiration

Everything in your life is a reflection of your choices. To be better, make a different choice - not once, but consistently, even when it feels uncomfortable.

Motivation is fickle. It comes and goes. It is unreliable and when you are counting on motivation to get your goals accomplished - you will likely fall short. If you do not believe you are disciplined, it is because you have not decided to become disciplined. Yet. Discipline > motivation.
